When approximately can we expect SC to be finished/out of early access?

I dont even think they have a clue. When you give money upfront they have zero no reason to rush which can be a good and bad thing. Just forget it exists unless you like to practice flying.

2025 to release 95% of what's the game itself. The meat and potatoes of the game. Not little tidbits every year to appease fans but something you can buy off the shelf and have the entire experience.

that was an exaggeration. if you want a game, its already here, just buggy (as all early access titles do) [admittedly crashing way too often]

With internet trolls, even within our own communities, there will always be people who waste peoples' time with useless posts that make no attempts of answering a question worthy of any value.

 

For the overall game, we don't know exact release date, but tentative release date for the Squadron 42 single player is set for mid to late 2016. Game is in alpha with mechanics currently being fleshed out, with beta being considered as going out around 2016 (for mmo aspects, PU). As for a working, near full release of the Persistent Universe, it may be closer to 2017 to 2018 for a mostly released (out of beta) state.

So that means that if Star Citizen is compared to something like Elder Scrolls, it may be 2019 before it's out.  Except that ZeniMax had a full studio to start, where CIG didn't have a full studio until late 2013.

You broke a cardinal rule. You used facts when people argue based entirely on biased and made up opinions that are most likely pulled out of their arse. Don that white knight uniform like the rest of us or jump in a bandwagon.

 

 

Jokes aside, no matter how many times you bring up what should be common sense, people rarely take it in. This is why every other AAA game released (consoles and pc), you have legions of manchildren bitching about everything wrong with it, even if they have to make things up or site an occurrence that happened one time for one person and never reappeared.
