Water pomp connector

The H100i has two cables coming out of it

one is SATA power

the other in a single cable for tachometer

 

sata power plugs into a sata cable from your PSU

the single thin cable plugs into your motherboard CPU_FAN header

Iv'e got mine connected to the CPU fan, it still detects the fans and pump separately in AI Suite.

Hey guys i got a GTXH100i . Do i connect it to cpu fan or water pump header? Im using Asus Z170-A

SATA should go into a SATA plug from PSU

Pump should go into CPU fan header

Fans should go into system fan headers

 

I have the H100i, a very similar cooler. This is how I set it up and it works fine.

When i connect to the waterpump. its fucks my system up and trys to overclock

Yeah mine did that too, I think that you have to go into AI Tweaker and turn off auto mode.

Be specific, which connector is "that connector"?
