€850 Gaming PC ($925)

alanp1995

Hello, my brother is looking to build a PC for around €850 from this website: http://www.mindfactory.de/ (This website has an option to share the basket, so would be cool if that could be done here!)

All he knows is that he wants Intel and no preference for GPU, just whatever is best to fit in budget.

He will mostly be using the computer for everything, gaming, video editing, digital imaging....

There is no need to include the OS in the build, I already have copies of Windows from my university, thanks :)

the z97 board was thrown in because it was only 5 euros more and he could upgrade to a broadwell or haswell overclockable cpu :)
the beefy psu was chosen because you can upgrade to crossfire down the road :)

i5 + 390 is much better for the average person than i7 + 380. i7's are top of the line for a reason, and chances are that's not what he needs.

I doubt there is much need for a Z97 board if there is a non-k CPU is there? Would be better to put the money in somewhere else?
