In wake of the new titles coming out soon, such as Battlefield 4, I want to create a new PC. For this, I've spent some time thinking about one particular area of focus: the case. Silly as it may seem, but it seems to express a certain flare, or individuality if you will. Some people like Fractal, some Thermaltake. It's all personal preference, but usually builds go with some standard cases like the R4 and Storm Scout. Not that there's anything wrong with them - I just see them frequently. I'm trying to find a case that really makes the build "pop." Something that doesn't have an excessive amount going on with it, but does more than a standard cut and polish finish. Those cases to me seem really dull and frankly boring.

What do you think? What's a case that you presume to be an eye catcher without really overdoing it?

It's probably over your budget, but the phanteks enthoo primo would probably fit your flashy but not too flashy look. It hasn't hit the market, but several reviewers have gotten it and love it

I just picked up a Corsair 350D to contrast with my huge Cosmos II for very similar reasons. Perhaps something in Corsair's Obsidian line would be nice for you.

I once saw a build with a custom painted Fractal Design Arc Midi. I think if you could afford or do a custom paint job, that may be the style you're going for. It's sleek, but got curves that makes it "pop" IMO.

Here's a link to the custom one: http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2013/05/mod-of-the-month-april-2013/35-300x292.jpg You obviously go with whatever color scheme you want, but I just think it looks good and unique.

Intel i5 3570K - ASRock Extreme4 - Corsair Vengeance 8Gb RAM - ASUS GTX 660 Ti - Samsung 840 250Gb SSD (OS-Games) - WD 750Gb HDD (Storage) - Corsair TX650W PSU - Corsair 300R

Get a caselabs case!!!! If not, customize whatever case you get and give it your own touch. I personally modded the case on my CM Storm Scout 2 the other day for a bigger window. It's fun and something to be proud of, even if you do screw it up a little :)

i5 4670k | Sapphire 7950 | Kingston 120GB SSD | Seagate 1TB | G.Skill Ripjaw X Series 8GB
