Reporting a steam scammer

Well, I was scammed on steam.

 

i was trading mad max for rainbow 6 siege and i got nothing in return

 

Then he tired to say that i scammed him

he also is now pretending that my mad max key is his rainbow 6 siege key

Your own fault for trading something that could be easily scammed. There is always a risk, if you are willing to take the risk you need to be ready for the consequences.

 

You can't just come here and say "ATTACK THIS PERSON!" Because hell, it could be you who is the one scamming and we could end up attacking a legitimate steam go'er.

 

TL;DR Just grow up and don't take the risk if you can't handle loosing out.

Ah.. thats kinda prime way of getting scammed, only ever trade inside the steam trade program, then you can add your key, he can add his key, and then you are fine

 

if its not a steam tradeable item, only do it with friends or people you know

this is my mad max key, look at the order number at the top, look at the first few letters of his key and the order number on his key.

Same as trading anything really, like if I was selling you a TV I would want the money at the same time as I hand you the TV, I wouldnt send you the  TV first, because you would just leg it

But I just think it's stupid to bombard someone with reports without having any evidence or anything. This is a dispute between you and this guy, Steam does not even have anything to do with it. You jus traded the keys right? Not even sending as a gift to each other o whatevr.
