well, i'm not trying to backseat moderate, i'm just using a creative method to tell people about status updates, because i got bored of just explaining their existance.

 

if i'd be backseat moderating i'd say "this thread should be locked, its useless"

however, its not up to me to make that decision, so i just keep it to making people aware of options.

I know perfectly well what the status update is. If I was a new member, that'd be a little more understandable.
