You might want to go the FX 8 core route for CAD work, also for 1440x900 gaming you can live with a cheaper GPU, but I'd imagine that is your next upgrade so a 380 is going to be able to do 1440p just fine

 

Although Canadian pricing of motherboards is really strange given how the CPU actually costs less than it does in the US right now
