Can't play with AMD card?

JohnnyIsHere

Heyy so i want to get this game from the steam sale http://store.steampowered.com/app/201810/

But there are tons of reviews that it doesn't work with a AMD Card and i am planning on getting a r9 380...

  • Additional Notes: AMD Radeon users: Please install AMD Catalyst™ 14.4

Yeahh so is there no point in buying this game if i am gonna be getting the R9 380... or will it be updated once i get it or something.

Thanks

Never seen a game that has a conflict with a Radeon graphics card, and most of the games I play are partnered with Nvidia. Can you post the name of the game?

*edit* Now I see it. Bullshit, I own and play that game. Old blood too. You're fine, the 380 will play that just fine.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

I have this game and run AMD cards. It doesn't play nice with crossfire but runs fine on a single 290. I have a love/hate relationship with this game. I love it but it has horrible screen tearing. Turning Vsync on results in frame dips that actually slows the game down (slows your movement in the game) which makes it almost unplayable, thus I'm forced to play it looking like Michonne from The Walking Dead took a few slashes at the image with her katana. :/
