Its a shame that Ati/AMD/Nvidia decided that small GPU were no longer a thing-the older GPU are tiny when compared to newer ones-even CPU die are larger. And they didn't put out too much heat and they didn't consume that much power.

And a demonstration of just how inefficient the architectures of the time were as until around about then they'd been using far smaller die and therefore didn't see any issues with the architecture.
