Increasing Pixel clock on a monitor

MayorPotatoSalad

I was just poking around in EVGA Precision X and found the slider for Pixel Clock, which ultimately increases both the pixel clock and refresh rate of my monitor. I am using an LG 29UB65 with a refresh rate of 60Hz. I have never used a monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60Hz so I don't know the difference but I have heard its pretty great, if I do 'overclock' my monitor slightly to get a higher refresh rate, what are the downsides to it and will I damage my monitor if I go too far?

Thanks

I have mine going at 66Hz, which is the highest it will go. I cant really tell the difference, its too small an overclock :(
