So i grabbed my mouse and hit my monitor with it a while back, i was really angry at the time because far cry 4 kept crashing, the monitor is now broken Yeah i know its stupid. but still, does that count as "accidental" damage? because i didnt want to break it, i just needed to hit something, i was just really pissed off. ACER G246HL

Angry is a state of mind in which an individual does something that he/she will regret. Being Angry usually results in someway, somehow with one spending money. The most you can do is contact Acer.

Accidental damage can literally be anything, I'd make up a story if you don't think your would count

Well i wouldnt describe the incident like that to Acer. But if you've got an accidental damage plan then I'd think you could get a replacement by saying it slipped while moving it or something got thrown by a kid that just didn't know better (that one is kinda true, just leave out that it was you lol) not trying to be mean, everyone gets angry and i get it

probably Only covered if you bought an extended warranty that specifically covers accidental damage

Physical damage is very rarely covered by warranty. Try going with your home insurance instead.

If you know for a fact that your warranty covers accidental damage then just make up a story about it falling over or something like that.

Worker was doing construction on the wall behind you and the vibrations caused it to wiggle off of the monitor stand and it fell?
