My 8350 overclocks very wierd

kekerino

Hey Guys

So i decided to overclock my 8350. I decided to benchmark it before i began.. But.. I noticed my 8350 doesnt even turbo (dun dun duuun) the 8350 should auto turbo to 4,2ghz underload right?

But it doesn't end there.

When i overclocked it, i started out by ocing to from 4,0ghz to 4,3ghz. But when i launched the benchmark it only goes up to 4,13ghz. I don't think its thermal throttling  cause the 100% temp average is 50 Celsius

halpes me pls geys

btw have you turn off the turbo tech when you oc'ed ?

i tell you this cause i had the same problem with my 8320, i forgot to disable my turbo and my cpu wasn't running at the speed i set in the bios even if it was on 50° in full load

I'm afraid of frying the shit out of my mobo, cause it has no heatspreaders on vrms and resistors

if your mobo supports a 8350 it should support a bit of overvoltage, nothing too crazy like 1.5v lol

it should support at least non oc specs
