Is there a way to use a GPU externally by USB?

TheMidnightNarwhal

So my Nvidia GPU on my laptop is pretty much RIP and all I have in there is a iGpu, Intel HD 4000. Is there a way I can use a desktop GPU over USB or is that technology not out yet?

Yes, In a way, you can buy some sort of external PCI-e lane that can be connected to your laptop (not sure If It's via USB though).

Not much you can do. I would suggest RMAing it if you can.

I can't. I read there was a certain driver where it gave a boost in voltage and juck f ed up the whole card.
