I know a really good one, but downloading Youtube videos violates their usage policies and brings up copyright issues and I don't want another warning point....

google is a public radio service and there is no law against recording radio, therefor copyrighted material is considered public access. thats why youtube-mp3 converters are legal

However depending on the video, it has YouTube usage policies, which if broken could be illegal.

That's like saying you cannot get arrested because it's his choice if he wants to kill, not ours. If he does something illegal then he shall get punished.

Good. I love this forum and community and wouldn't try to bring anything illegal up in this at all. I found a song that an independent musician made and asked him if it was okay to download.
