So I heard rumours that dice is working on the new battlefield game and I was wondering what everyone would like to see in the new game and everyone's opinions. Also do you think they will use battlelog or make a new stat system.

They need a better game mode that has no tanks in it. A simple capture the point with no tanks would do it for me.

yea they should put that in. I also think they should bring back tank supirority from bf3

no, bf4 was long fixed when hardline came out.

how is bf4 modern, it's pretty down to the ground imo. Just tanks bore me to death. 70 1 scores all day.

hardline is not a battlefield game, it was a spin-off. it's not a sequel, never was.

but made by the same people. if hardline sold better or they thought a good idea was surrounded by bad ones, they would still incorporate it into other projects

cod has shit netcode, I play CS:GO, but I want something else too. Also BF4 seems to get a ton of development, I'm just not a fan of current modes. All I can play is hardcore conquest and try to avoid tanks as best I can or TDM.

No, I mean it's current, not modern. also WW2 is boring to me. Had enough of bf 1942 back in the day.

thing is. I mostly want ww2. I understand that there has been quite a lot of ww2 games in the past. but i mean. nothing up to today's standart.  cod5 was the best. but then the thing just vanished... vietnam would be cool too. some kind of black ops style thing with battlefield.   (not thatbattlefiend 3 was litteraly the same concept as thefirst black ops.. but yeah. I don't think that will happen.)

oh well, whatever. I personally don't want a WW2 game. Maybe after WW2 during the cold war would be fine. Less OP tanks.

Kudos to DICE for not annually milking the Battlefield franchise in the same ways of COD or AC. They put out a Battlefield, support it and put out DLC, and it's still going strong! I believe they've gone on record saying they have no interest in iterating them faster, so that's cool.

 

Battlefield 5 should be about due by end of next year, so I'd imagine a late 2016 launch window. It'll get announced at E3 and all that.

 

Battlelog is still dumb though, I hope they get rid of it. Or at least have SOME kind of browser integrated INSIDE the game or something. Grudgingly, Battlelog did improve from BF3 to BF4, but ennnnh it's dumb.
