Running a Dedicated Physx Card?

I have a couple 660 Tis staring at me from my shelf. I currently have a 980 Ti and a 750W power supply.

Is it possible for me to use one of the 660 Tis for Physx instead of my 980 Ti? Would it even be worth it?

Unless you REALLY want the few more particles in the handful of PhysX games. From the top of my head I know Batman Arkham City or Asylum and Borderlands 2 use PhysX.

But even at that point, you are always having another GPU in your system for a couple of games.

Physx isn't really used in any games, and if it is it's only for a few particle effects, it's really not worth the extra power draw.

To be honest, I'm the sort of person who would use it, but honestly...there isn't much of a point right now.

If the 660Ti is just useless to you and they lie on the shelf unused, then hook it up, even if it only helps a little in some specific scenarios, you lose nothing basically
