i was thinking about changing from a 4460 to a 8320 because right now im over budget and that would be a good $60 saved 

any suggestions because the 4460 is to expensive for me  

CPU: i5 4690k  (overclocked to 4.3ghz)             CPU Cooler: Cryorig h7                 MOBO:  Msi Z97 pc mate             RAM: 8GB HyperX 1600 blue

If i were you i'd save up a bit more for the i5, it is really very worth it.

no, stay with intel because when you have more money in the future you will be able to upgrade to a better i5 or i7

if you get the 8350 you're stuck with that

 

if you really need to save money, buy an i3

its still really good

or, look for used CPUs being sold in your area, I bet you can find some used i5s for less than the 8350

Like @Oshino Shinobu said, show us a parts list as that is a major performance hit, while you might be able to save else where. There is a reason you rarely see somone on this forum say get a FX-xxxx cpu
