Posted November 22, 2015 So im planning on getting the NZXT S340 for my 2nd PC Build and I realized the S340 doesnt have an optical drive cartridge, and lets be honest, what else am i gonna use the drive for besides install windows. I've seen videos of installing windows on a flash drive but i dont really want to go that way unless necessary. So can i basically just take off the side panel, plug in the optical drive and power it and plug it with SATA and just put in windows and once it's finished just unplug everything. If not, are there usb optical drives, if so link me to some of them. Hope I find help. Ariana Grande's Leaked Nudes!!!111!11! In the US, here's a decent looking one. http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-Portable-Rewriter-GP60NB50/dp/B00C2AMK2M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1448150863&sr=8-2&keywords=usb+optical+drive Sig under construction. Posted November 22, 2015 You can use USB if your motherboard supports it, or just external optical drives. That's about your only options. I used to be quite active here.

Posted November 22, 2015 You said "install windows on a flash drive". Did you mean "install windows using a flash drive". Is there a particular reason that you don't want to?
