PCI-E and mother board HELP!
astranger200 replied to c0pper's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
it shouldnt have, but it could have. I would first be reseting your bios (how to do this depends on your board, but you can always just take out the cmos battery, unplug the power and hold the power button for 30 sec). if that doesnt work, try the onboard gpu if you have one. check all your cables are plugged in correctly -

Looking for recommendations on parts for new PC
astranger200 replied to Blake_Murdock's topic in New Builds and Planning
do yourself a favour and at that price point stick with a ryzen 7 3700x. much better value.as for board, take your pick of x570 boards, they are all great. just pick the one that suits your needs best. get the cheapest ram that will do 3600mhz, cheapest decent pcie ssd, and a evga 650w g3 -

astranger200 replied to Meawa's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
im well awear. im telling you that if it has an m.2 slot, that specific model does support nvme -
they are an older design and do have some downfalls but overall are ok quality and I havent seen too many people having issues with them. for a low powered apu build its fine

agreed with both. having an ssd will help it sell
