What's your input on Battlefront?

FineVisionz

I'm questioning on either buying Battlefront or not, anyone have any input?

Also,  do you think it will go on sale at all anytime soon since it is the holidays?

Thanks!

I picked it up for 68 AUD and I personally I think it's worth that, not $90.

It's a beautiful and overall fun game, but the price is difficult to swallow.

I also wish there were other forms of AA; perhaps TXAA.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Wait until prices drop.

It's a fun game, don't get me wrong, but I got the game for €50, which I think is way overpriced for the content you get.

Whenever you see the game at around €30, go for it.

I played it tonight it's quite fun but don't see me playing it much as it's not competitive enough just a casual shooter and the grenade spamming is a little annoying just nades everywhere on drop zone

Not worth it imo. Could be fun the first couple of weeks but it I don't think you will still be playing the game very actively several months later. Wait for the sequel :P

I'm on the fence as well.  Played the beta, it was okay, a tad repetitive.  Think I'll wait til it lowers in price a bit with a tad more content.

Chill game. Was never meant for being played outside of how we all used to play Battlefront II and shit as kids. I could swear DICE even said it wasn't meant to be more than that.

Also the performance is amazing with how well optimized it is that even potatoes like the Xbox 1 can make it look great.

I think the issue is everyone was expecting a game to be as "in depth" and "competitive" as BF4 or CoD. I'm fairly certain the beta proved otherwise.

Knowledge is power, guard it well.

  • 2 weeks later...

Wait for a sale it will be more worth it. And some advice: Its a reboot so don't expect anything from it. If you do, you won't be pleased. Just play it and enjoy it.
