I don't know as far as I remember the shipping itself didn't cost too much, the taxes may be the actual issue since it's outside EU.

 

You have to pay taxes when importing from outside of the EU, in the Netherlands I'd have to pay about 60 bucks of taxes on this SSD.

 

Also the title is wrong, it should be something like why can't I save ;)
