Did you ever use bottle cap codes?

Call of Duty is doing that Dew and Doritos thing that gives you double XP for bottle cap codes and it got me thinking.. This is something lots of companies do, and I was wondering if any of y'all succumb to this kind of marketing.

 

Back in the day, Rock Band did it, you could use codes to get free songs... You better believe I raided trash cans and I literally got EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. I believe there was over 200 and it required many hours of work, gather, entering, and redeeming codes. 

 

I now have over 550 songs for that game I never play anymore.

I dont drink soda, havent for many years so nope. I use to do it years ago for battlefield heroes. I still say that is the best battlefield game!

They really seem to target gamers with this. Literally Dew and Doritos is such a stupid stereotype. Not every gamer is so unhealthy. We never have chips or soda in the house.

I don't either lol. I used to buy the pepsi for the codes, and dump it into milk jugs! 

 

I also dug into the trash at my parent's jobs and school lol.

I use to think that at first but then I got so good I was accused of hacking on a daily basis and never spent a penny. From just a pure fun aspect it's one of the best games I ever played.

Meh, i was ok on that game

Cool, looks like I wasn't the only one who played p4f I played that since beta, than it slowly went to shit and just got dropped, but at its peak it was a really fun game, pay2win aside of course.

Yea the beta was fun, then it started getting eh, though i did the surveys and got more funds and bought weapons from there

 

I only bought the FAMAS because that gun was OP as fuck
