You have a crappy OCer. Sorry friend, looks like you lost the silicon lottery - never buy based on "OC potential" but rather out of the box performance.

OC: G3258 @ 4 GHZ 1.25 Volts, If I go past this it will BSOD.

EDIT: Stock Cooler

Go to 1.35v, and try to push it for a few couple units on the multiplier more.

Dont wrap your socks around the CPU To cool it thats why its crashing!!!! Jk It should be fine under stock cooler with a fan on it, if its temps rise above 90 than tone it down and say GG this is what your going to get lol

On Sock Cooling? Can anyone confirm this?

Digital Foundry ran a benchmark between this and the i3 6100, with the G3258 overclocked to 4.2GHz, all on a stock cooler.

And as far as stock coolers go, Intel's are very good coolers. It doesn't beat something like, say, a Noctua cooler or a Cooler Master 212, but they are still pretty good coolers.
