as little as $135 for a connector upgrade? Ehhh I will keep mine how they are on my 400i's. Doesn't look to be too hard if I wanted to do it myself either.

It's not clear to me whether it is a straight upgrade or whether they just give you a new headphone. Either way, nice of them to do I'd say, since the original connector wasn't really defective (usually <_< ).

It's not clear to me whether it is a straight upgrade or whether they just give you a new headphone. Either way, nice of them to do I'd say, since the original connector wasn't really defective (usually <_< ).

Not to mention it's a lot easier to deal with. Damn. I might have to sell some cans and pick these up.

Where can I contact customer support, I recently purchased my HE-400i's and sadly the cable broke today, so instead of these tedious coaxial cables the other ones would be a lot better for me.

Email them at customerservice@hifiman.com. Although since it is your cable that broke instead of the headphone, you may not have any luck with a straight exchange.

I read today in the head-fi HE-560 thread that HiFiMan is accepting exchanges for the new version if purchased in the last 30 days from an authorized reseller.
