is this monitor good? http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-25UM57-P-ultrawide-led-monitor

 

the price is nice

 

and how much will this resolution affect performance? much more than 1080p?

it doesn't affect performance much atleast i din't notice.

Good monitor, but beware that a 25 inch ultrawide is only the same height as a 22 inch regular monitor, so just make sure you can deal with the reduced vertical height.

You'll have about 30% more pixels than 1080p.

i have powerfull enough PC.

will it affect gaming? I mean, will there be things I can't see?

now i have 22' monitor, so that will be a nice upgrade

Just FYI, 25" for 21:9 resolution is really small. I'd suggest at least getting a 27" for 2560x1080 monitor. It shouldn't affect your performance by much, but what gpu do you have?

He has an R9 390, and I don't think the vertical height should matter too much as he's using a 22 inch monitor atm.

No, you just get to see more on the sides.
