SFF, without any compromise!

I’ve been wanting to do this build for a couple of years now, I just have a few questions left before I pull the trigger. I wanna stay as small and efficient as possible, ever since I laid my eyes on the FT03 mini I know its gonna be my next build.

 

Build:

Case: Silverstone FT03 mini 119.99

MB: Asus Maximus VIII impact 239.99

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700k 329.99

GPU: MSI GTX 980Ti 639.99

PSU: Silverstone 600W 117.99

STORAGE: Samsung SM951 256GB 196.99

COOLER: Corsair H80i 89.99

MEMORY: Kingston HyperX Fury Black(2x8GB) 101.49

Total:$1836.42

 

I plan to use it for gaming(1440), photo editing(RAW) and video editing.

With that I have a couple of questions,

1.     Will I be better off with 2 ssd in raid 0 or nvme ssd[the impact viii has a u.2 slot, I heard that it’s the same connection as a m.2]

2.     I’m trying to stay in budget, but in the same time I don’t wanna compromise on parts, what if any can be better

3.     I know that the 980Ti wont fit the FT03 mini, but I’m open to modding the case. I’ve seen lots of people shove a titan on this case. Any suggestion on a GPU, I just feel that the 980Ti is the sweet spot for GPU’s right now.

One thing I would suggest is to put you rlist on https://pcpartpicker.com/

 

The other thing is the psu looks a bit weak. But I may be wrong on that. Its an sx an I dont have much experience with those...

The PSU is made by Enhance Electronics, not a half bad PSU; however, not worth the $117

DId some looking.

Your chosen GPU is too long.

Your chosen Cooler may not fit.

And your Mobo (motherboard) is not compatible with the SDD you chose, it is an M.2 and your chosen mobo has a U.2 plug-in.

Could go with an R9 Nano instead of the 980Ti.

Majority of DCC tools use CUDA if theyre gpu accelerated so anything amd is not a wise choice.

Made the suggestion because of the form factor of the Nano. It is the fastest card of that size.
