Trying to use a DS4 controller on pc

Okay so i downloaded DS4Windows to use the controller but it doesn't recognize any devices yet windows sees a xbox360 controller(ps4 controller)

If anybody has any ideas pls help.

plug it in through usb, i did that and got it to work

i have it plugged in through usb ive tried unplugging and replugging and i get a orange light every time

Really? For me i plugged it in and then it worked in games.

Just plug the controller in ur PC with the USB and download inputmapper

 

It sees your controller as an xbox controller but you can use it in any game then.

I've been told that using a Dual Shock 4 in Windows requires additional configuration and mapping for each game you want to play.  As much as I much prefer the DS4 over any other controller, an Xbox controller is much easier.  It's basically plug and play, and most games will recognize the buttons.  I use a wired 360 controller.

Try using SCP server. I know is supports DS3, but I think it works on DS4 too.

Did you install the driver in the setup process of DS4?

 

I literally just got a new PS4 controller and downloaded and installed DS4 and when I go into controller properties, everything works fine, even the touch pad through usb cable. My BT dongle works too.
