I'm looking to upgrade to a GPU now since I have just been using my CPU's onboard intel graphics. I'm only going to be running games on a 1080p display. I'm using an i5-4690k.

I totally recommend an MSI R9 380 4GB. I think it is hands down the best bang for the buck right now. I own one and I love it. What kinds of games are you playing? That can help get the best value for you as well.

He got a pretty good deal, but you can regularly find them for less than $200. I got mine for $170 on eBay (so that would be even less on Craigslist).

Cheap deals like that do not exist in Australia.

Craigslist = 6 items in my state

Ebay = People selling their broken P4 desktop for $100

Gumtree = Hopeless, you are never going to find anything on there.

I found a few 970s, one 270, and two 290s on the front page of CL. I live in Houston, too.
