Anyone have a new 3DS (regular size)?

Thinking about upgrading my 3DS XL to a regular size new 3DS. I initially upgraded to the XL because the original 3DS was really uncomfortable to me, but the unwieldy size of the XL is now making me want to switch back to the smaller one again.

 

Does anyone own the new 3DS? It looks much less angular than the original 3DS. Can anyone confirm if it has the same buttons as the 3DS XL? The buttons on the original 3DS felt overly stiff to me (especially the D-pad, absolutely hated it) and would fatigue my hands, especially while playing action games. The buttons on the 3DS XL are much nicer, easier to press, and less sticky feeling.

 

So, to anyone who owns a new 3DS, how does it compare to the old 3DS in terms of comfort and quality? And how does it compare to the old 3DS XL in terms of how the buttons feel?

it is in fact a little bit bigger than regular, also bigger screens. Not sure for the button stiffness as I don't have any 3ds console but here is the comparison:
