Goddamit my first post is a shit storm, basically My parents are very wealthy and because this upcoming Christmas Im getting a new computer. This computer is arriving at my house tomorrow and I know half of everything is over kill so deal with it

I would of loved to built it but my parents claim that I might fry the motherboard so I went the prebuilt route >.<

The PSU Is overkill because in maybe 3 years Ill plan to load this up with some Titans

why 1600w?

Why dominator platinum?DDR4 platinums are a rip off

Do you actually own this? Somehow I don't believe you.

What seems unbelievable about it? Its not like its some extremely god-tier system. It's using the lowest X99 i7 in it, and the board isn't even in the high end range. PSU is completely overkill, but aside from that, it looks like pretty much every other X99 build you see on this forum.

Because my cynical mind goes into red flag mode (so to speak) when rigs like this are posted on the forum without any proof. There's been way too many people posting threads, asking for advice on rigs with a gigantic budget that they'll never buy.

 

I know this isn't an advice thread, but do you see my perspective?

I own 3 Razer products and hate them all. Not a good choice. Why 32GBs of RAM? Also, what water cooler exactly? Did you truly need to spend thT extra money on a 980Ti watercooled? For being 13 and this being mostly,your parents money, I feel,you you wasted quite a bit. What on earth will you be doing that requires a 5820k? Also what PSU to be exact?

That computer isn't possible since Windows 7 Home Premium CANNOT have more than 16GB of ram!

You know what you wont believe me but I put windows 7 because thats my normal operating system but now yeah I got a windows 10

No dude, that is another thing I and many other people hate. That is a stupid reason to even consider going overkill. Like the people who buy a Titan X over a 980Ti for bragging rights, Alright go ahead and pay $300-$350 to say you wasted money. Not saying he did it to waste money; however, Being 14 the most I would ever need is an i7-4790k ( The schooling I am going into, i7-4790k would be very helpful and a R9 390; however, I am waiting for a GPU since I plan on possible 1440p 60-120hz. ) Besides the fact. 32GBs of ram is useless 8/10. 8 is logical and 16 is formthe multitask gamers. Yeah I rambling and I cannot truly state to much information as I simply do not have much in him. Honestly... If my parents said they would give me a $2,000 PC, I would not accept it. I would try and cheap out in so many areas since I feel as if my parents do not have to give me these types of gifts. I try to accept gifts mostly on Christmas or my BDay and even then I try and chip in some of mine. However, that is me.
