I wasn't around to play the beta. I'm interested in maybe buying it this year (haven't since BO2).

Was it any good on steam? What were the reviews like? I never got a chance to look at the reviews. Does anyone know the percent rating?

I personally enjoyed it, played past 5 CoD games and it was better than the BO and BO2.

I played it and it felt like Black Ops 2 with Advanced Warfare movement/gadgets, if that makes any sense.

I personally did not find it enjoyable; the game didn't look good graphically to me(looked washed out/blurry(yes I played with the settings)), it didn't feel good to play on keyboard/mouse, and it doesn't have that "CoD" feel to it anymore. For the record I still play CoD4 every now and then because the game looks good, it feels good on keyboard/mouse and it doesn't have as much overbearing amount of things tacked on; killstreaks, weapons, perks, etc.

Maybe it's nostalgia(I did enjoy Black Ops 1 a lot on X360), but ever since Black Ops 2 the games themselves have felt "off" to me. The game performaned great on my machine(specs in profile), I could max it out on 1080p and was getting a good 50-60fps consistently.

new maps, new guns, and a different gameplay feel due to the way you play being slightly different (due to the differing gun mechanics). Yes, they could just release the new game as DLC for older games, but that wouldn't be any cheaper (plus it would be less profitable) and it would create larger fragmentation within the community.

If it was just the same shit year after year, then it wouldn't be one of the most successful franchises.

Interesting, I didn't find myself having any issues finding a game. (and considering that was a Beta, the official release should have far more players anyway)

With less spazzy AW mechanics imo. I enjoyed AW, but I never really ended up playing it because the only way to do well is to constantly jump around -- which gets tiring to do after about thirty minutes to an hour.

I disagree, it doesn't look stunning, but I don't think it looked bad; and I don't recall having any complaints using a keyboard/mouse -- it felt the same as previous CoDs. And if anything, the killstreaks were fewer and further between than they have been in recent games.

I played and really liked the Black Ops: 3 PC beta

..it was the first time that I have played COD since Black Ops:1 and is only the 2nd COD I have played on a PC (I played the 1st COD on LAN party wayyy back in the day) so, I didn't really have high expectations because I had been chased away from the franchise once already by the console versions and had hazy memories of beating my buddies down on the old PC version so I installed the beta.

-the game was fairly average looking for a PC game, which by default @ 1440p blows console graphic quality out the wada(water) but in truth, its just a game like any other PC game..

-the game play was definitely different than I had played with the wall running, floor sliding, and jet pack jumping.. which did take a couple rounds of getting used to, but i found it pretty easy once I tried a little bit harder on my timing ;)

-the 'special' weapons for every class were extremely over powered (explosive arrows, a tazer that will kill a whole team, or the crazy jump punch thing that has a massive kill radius for example seemed very very nuub friendly, and caused me to change lobbies more than a couple handfuls of times between matches when whole teams would only use these weapons and nothing else)

-you will always get people abusing mic's, but that is also mute'able in the menus (although I found it odd that you could not BLOCK a player, to guarantee not to play with them again)

I could go on, but i think you get the point.. its a game, if you want a new FPS this may very well do it for you, unless you expect the game to change your life, then maybe not.

3 min 05 seconds of me playing after a late join to a match in BO:3 beta (w/ me getting hip fire final kill, and kill cam)
