Posted October 26, 2015 Hey Guys, My friend told me that v-sync creates additional lag between you clicking and the gun shooting, if I limit the refresh rate to 60Hz does this still increase lag? Also is it even noticable, gonna get CS:GO soon! For CSGO you shouldn't touch V sync it makes the experience bad but for most otherwise V sync can help with screen tearing or coil whine SetupCPU: i3 4160|Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE|RAM: Kingston HyperX Blue 8GB(2x4GB)|GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4GB|PSU: Seasonic M12II EVO 620W Modular|Storage: 1TB WD Blue|Case: NZXT S340 Black|PCIe devices: TP-Link WDN4800| Montior: ASUS VE247H| Others: PS3/PS4
 I would disable v sync and if you have amd limit your fps that way since that will prevent any tearing (FTRC) On 11/19/2014 at 2:14 PM, Syntaxvgm said: You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator. Posted October 26, 2015 Why? I have a 60Hz panel... Normally you wouldn't be able to tell the difference when getting fps above your monitor's refresh rate, but CS:GO is an exception. For some reason 300 fps is very noticeable from even 100-150 fps for many people. RIP in pepperonis m8s
 Posted October 27, 2015 CS GO is no exception! You won`t notice the higher refresh rate on your display, but you will feel the game more responsive, because of the lower input lag. With v-sync off you are trading artifact free experience, for a more responsive gameplay. A few ms won`t mater in a SP game, but you need them in MP.
