Display Driver Crash R9 390

Hey guys,

 

I've been having problems with my Sapphire R9 390. After playing a pretty graphics intensive game (Witcher 3 and GTA V) it would have a display driver crash within 20 mins - 1 hr of playing. I have the 15.9.1 catalyst driver. GPU temps have only ever gone up to around 60 C. Anyone ever had the same problem and know what's up ? I play on ultra normally and I've even toned it down to high and still same thing. If I play lower spec games like CS GO or League it would run completely fine.

Usually first step of troubleshooting this is, clean install (http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/?q=node/5) and remove any overclocks that you have on the GPU. If that doesn't work then the forum can probably investigate further.

remove the driver via DDU and install 15.7.1 (the WHQL driver) and try that. If you have had an Nvidia card, remove those drivers via DDU as well
