We don't know yet when it will be released, but obviously since we have some screenshots of it, it shouldn't be too far off.

 

 

Honestly, I just hope this thing will be optimized for all devices. That's really all I'm hoping for, because I have an old phone. It's pretty cool how they're getting a "Windows Store" look, sort of.

I do agree with you, it must be difficult to get an app store 'right'.

I'm no graphic designer, although I have met with some, and it's amazing what they can do but corporate mandates kind of ruin things. That aside I feel like the big problem with modern app stores is sheer amount of different content. It's easy to make a store for just music or just videos look good and be functional but the minute you want everything in one place things get super tricky

I will only be happy when they actually separate games and apps. It's so annoying to look through the top apps only to see games, when there is a top games section.
