I would got with UAE but I'm 99.9999% sure that's not their flag.

It is not the UAE. It's further east than that.

 

A couple of hints:

Their head of state has the biggest private collection of cars in the world

And his brother has a mansion with statues of him having sex with various women.

The only nearby country I remember is Malaysia so I'm going with that, although I don't think it's right considering the language on the flag.

Malaysia is also quite close.

And Arabic is also a pretty big language in Malaysia.
