Dunno what 'C' means but the 5775C has better onboards because it uses Iris Pro instead of Intel HD graphics like the 4790K

It just means that the CPU is unlocked. Some people speculate that they chose a C instead of a K, to also annotate Crystalwell, seeing as the CPU boasts the Iris Pro 6200.

Looked it up, there is a free CPU Core Ratio, also graphics are besser. But who needs onboard graphics xD

C stands for Crystall Well which is Intels "codename" for CPUs with eDRAM

@patrickjp93 will confirm this i guess

oh ok , damit intel with your odd naming scheme

price wise, you could buy a AMD A10 7850k + Mobo, use that for a while, and by the time you can buy a GPU, the price difference between the AMD setup and the intel broadwell setup would be around the price of a 4690k

performance wise, the APU setup is 15% worse then the intel setup.....

Remember, i am comparing JUST a 5775C vs APU + Mobo.... if you add in intel mobo, it gets even more expensive....

If you sell the APU later on, you will get a little bit money back, which would easily cover the cost of a LGA 1150 mobo for your 4690k

you can get all that, for the price of ONE CPU.... and gaming wise, you would just have 15% less performance.....

get a 4790k then and a 750Ti.... costs about the same as the broadwell CPU, performs eons better in every way (broadwell is downclocked, and will not OC that far due to iGPU and TDP restraints)
