I only willingly answer questions that cannot be answered by Google sufficiently...

Don't forget that some of your Google results are from other forums. For example, "4670K vs 4670." We've had questions similar to that on here. Imagine you post "Just Google it." So they get a search result that answers their question from another forum where someone had the guts to ask the question and then forum members actually answered it. Imagine if every member just said "Google it." No one would get anywhere.

I help people because Google goes into unreliable sources and answers. It just is not worth others time.

Can people literally not understand what "research for 15 minutes" can do for one's prosperity?

Don't forget the V300 SSDs. And the excessive amount of case fans.

Haha - true. My favourite is Thermaltake PSUs though.

While reposting the same questions over and over can be annoying, I find that asking a question or troubleshooting a problem without providing any information is 100x more annoying.

It should be common sense to give as much info as possible.

You know some people just like the interaction better on forums they can google it but then if they have other questions they can ask on the thread to the people who just replied to.

But if it's like is this card or this card better you can't really go wrong with Google

But if it's like will this CPU bottleneck this card. Google might say yes but on the forum a person might say yes unles this this and this.

So some people just find the forum more helpful and interactive.

The worst part has to be when someone asks for advice, you give it to them, then they tell you are wrong and proceed to "educate" you.

It's mainly knobs who ask about the latest graphics cards or can my PC run this with specs obviously within the high to ultra settings range. Especially when people make an account just to ask the question and I cringe when it's so obvious they ask and bolt.

Knowledge is power, guard it well.
