CS:GO on my PC?

TheMastr13
Go to solution Solved by ReHWolution,

By no means am I a competitive gamer. I was just looking for some FPS's (first person shooter) that are pretty cheap and easy to run. If anyone has a recommendation, that'd be great :)

Then you should be fine playing @ 720p on low settings. It won't look great but you'll still have a lot of fun in DMs and Arms Races ;)

Just wanted to know how CS:GO would perform on my computer before I buy it

Specs:

Core 2 Duo E4500

8gb Patriot RAM

Asus R5 230 1gb (equal to HD6450)

I'm building a new rig soon, so please don't make fun of my current one :)

Thanks!

EDIT: at a resolution of 1680x1050

You know that guy that games on a MacBook? I'm that guy.

Meh. GMod runs fine, at about 60 FPS on low settings

Most likely maxed out, i could max out CS:GO on my 3500M :P Which is even worse :P

At that resolution, probably not. I'd say 720p lowest settings will get you around 30-50 fps.

If you want to have fun in CS:GO, you should have 250FPS in order not to suffer from input lag, I have problems when I get under 230 FPS because I'm faster than textures and I get shot way more than usual.

BUT, if it's about casual gaming, it may work just fine.
