Honestly people straight up shouldn't use any AMD CPU that's more than 170$. Like the i5-4460 is better in most use case scenarios and I can almost guarantee it won't do that shit.

There's nothing wrong putting FX-9590 on a GOOD 970 chipset board. An example is the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P with a 8+2 power phase...or possiblely the MSi 970 Gaming with a 6+2 VRM system.

The motherboard in the video is a MSi 970 Krait. It runs on a horrible 4+1 VRM design. It is pretty much a reskinned MSi 970A-G43...that board doesn't even have the FX-8350 / FX-8320 in the CPU support list.

The chipset (970, 990X, 990FX) has no effect if the CPU will work or not. It depends if the motherboard manufacturer implements a strong enough voltage regulation system to handle the extra power draw the CPU requires.

In the video, it was the crappy power phase system overheating, due to the extra current and voltage reqiured for the FX-9590, and burning up.

Mmmm... bring out the marshmallows.. I don't even kno if there are any boards that run those 9590. Some boards say the 9590 "would work"

I am glad I didn't bought that CPU. Thought it would been nice for rendering models and such...

no, dude, im telling you... thats what it is suppose to do... you take your CPU 8 pin power socket and resolder to the other side of your voltage regulator on your mobo (so it doesnt limit the power... duh) its called "super overclocking" i cant believe you never heard of it...
