I am looking for a pair of closed back headphones that have good isolation and not overly bulky.

While the M50X really isn't that great of a headphone, even for its price. I think that we all need to appreciate the fact that all he said about them was that he liked them. Nothing about them being amazing, or them being the best headphone ever, or even that they are the best in their class. I appreciate that, and I wish that more M50X fans acted like this.

Since I'm all for maximizing a budget, give the NAD VISO HP50 a try. While the build quality does scare me a bit since the ear cups are made of a certain plastic that doesn't inspire durability, the sound quality is actually really good from a company that, if I remember correctly, made their first headphones.
