IMO, a Corsair 380T

-snip-

This, I <3 mine. But, if you want a PC that's easy to move just get a really small case (Node 304, Node 202, Sugo SG13B, etc.)

i've been looking at that one myself, but it seems REALLY big, for the hardware that fits inside...

Yeah, it is kind of bulky for what it fits, but I still think it looks fantastic :)

Project White Lightning (My ITX Gaming PC): Core i5-4690K | CRYORIG H5 Ultimate | ASUS Maximus VII Impact | HyperX Savage 2x8GB DDR3 | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB | WD Black 1TB | Sapphire RX 480 8GB NITRO+ OC | Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ITX | Corsair AX760 | LG 29UM67 | CM Storm Quickfire Ultimate | Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum | HyperX Cloud II | Logitech Z333

Benchmark Results: 3DMark Firestrike: 10,528 | SteamVR VR Ready (avg. quality 7.1) | VRMark 7,004 (VR Ready)

Other systems I've built:

Core i3-6100 | CM Hyper 212 EVO | MSI H110M ECO | Corsair Vengeance LPX 1x8GB DDR4  | ADATA SP550 120GB | Seagate 500GB | EVGA ACX 2.0 GTX 1050 Ti | Fractal Design Core 1500 | Corsair CX450M

Core i5-4590 | Intel Stock Cooler | Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI | HyperX Savage 2x4GB DDR3 | Seagate 500GB | Intel Integrated HD Graphics | Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 | be quiet! Pure Power L8 350W

I am not a professional. I am not an expert. I am just a smartass. Don't try and blame me if you break something when acting upon my advice.

whats your budget for parts?

are you mainly gaming or doing some video editing/rendering on the side

Both gaming and editing

Budget is about $1000-$2000

Right now I'm looking into that type of computer.

I'm also looking at building a new gaming full tower. With is the with the new intel i7-6700k.

My gaming PC now it is AMD and it works great but I'm also looking to upgrade my computers

You can always get more performance but same price as skylake

an x99 build you can get a 5820k 6 core intel processer and ddr4 for the price of a quadcore skylake

Here's a list in no particular order of my favorite portable cases:

  • Corsair 380t (Big for what it is but has a handle and plenty of space inside)

  • Silverstone CS01/CS01-HS (Good all rounder with handle)

  • Silverstone FT03 (Doesn't take up much desk space but it quite tall)

FT03B-34View-1.jpg

  • Bitfenix Prodigy/Prodigy M (Not very efficient cooling in the "M" model, but looks awesome and not too big)

  • CM Storm Scout 2/Scout 2 Advanced/Scout 2 N2 (Plenty of inside space, annoying radiator mounting, awesome look for full tower, not much difference between the different models)

  • Corsair Obsidian 250D (Cool, simplistic, Ikea-like design, very small)

  • Lian Li PC-TU100/200/300 (Not a huge fan of the funky "modded toaster" look, but not bad cases overall.)

  • Corsair Vengance C70 (Big, very gamery, awesome ammo-box design, annoying fan mounts on side panels, uncomfortable handles compared to others)

There's a whole lot more, but those were just a few that came to mind.

Sorry for long post, Here's floating Jeep Ice.
