Side panel and case airflow

Q1: Is it better with side panels on the case or off. Should I just get a real life fan and plop it in the side of the exposed case. Has anyone though of that??

Q2 : my case is not ordinary compared to the others as most cases have intake from the front right? Well my one has an outtake and there are 2 dust filters on the side which exit air. My case has no outtake on the back of the case because it didn't come with it.

I'm going to get a 92mm fan and 120mm fan and a Arctic cooler freezer 7 pro v2 for better temperatures so I can OC my g3258.

Is 1500-2000 rpm good for case fans?

First, what case do you have?

Second, usually, it's better wit a side pannel off, so that the air coming over the hdd's isn't being sent to the cpu/gpu. With the side open, that leavs cool air to come into the case without being heated first. the downside is dust.

I have mine on because I have lots of airflow. About 12 fans in an mATX case.

12 fans? WTF WTF. Let me guess. $300 case? My case can fit 3 :D

nope. 100$ fractal design arc mini. 10 on radiators and two smaller ones for cooling vrm and hdd. I am on mobile right now but if you can find it, the pc has a build log with the name "thispcneedsabettername" more slower fans are better for noise.

Silverstone Precision PS09 Black Case

http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=453 this one? Shows it has 2 front slots and 1 rear. So 2 front intakes and 1 rear exhaust. Plenty of airflow for budget machine.

No sidepanel = no air flow. Air flow is based on closed case where only fans determinate how air moves.
