windows RT.

Not full windows. Not even close to full windows. Just metro apps. Might as well run windows mobile in that case.

It's a phone. Even if you could run desktop apps the experience would be horrendous. You'd need a keyboard and touchpad similar to a Surface to be viable, but even then a full desktop on such a tiny screen would be awful.

 

There's a reason Windows RT focussed on the touchscreen interface only.

It has as much of Windows as you'd care about. It's academic that it doesn't have stuff you'd never want to use anyway. If only Microsoft had given it an iota of support and allowed it to be purchased independently of hardware it could have been quite good.

It's not a question of power, it's a question of instruction sets. There is a version of Windows 8 that will run on the iPhone in theory, it just doesn't have the mouse-interface stuff that you wouldn't be able to use anyway.

 

I'm not "trying to prove" anything, I am simply saying that you are wrong to dismiss Windows RT as not real Windows for touch-only devices.

RT isn't real windows, that's the reason why it lost support too, it's a dead project.

 

It didn't "lose support", it was just handled so incompetently that there was no possible way it could have done well.

 

And to call a Windows OS made by Microsoft and called Windows "not real Windows" just because its existence contradicts the point you are trying to make is idiotic.
