your cpu is going to bottleneck. But considering my 4.6-7ghz 4790k bottlenecks be constantly in that game; you're going to be about as good as it gets.

You'll be fine - but avoid OCing - the NEX PSUs are crappy.

I'd drop the SSD for now and pick up a GTX 980, then down the road pick up a SSD. You'll be trading off boot speed for now, but you'll have more gaming horsepower.

Oh, you already have it built? I thought you were talking about building a PC and you were worried you wouldn't be able to run it. :P

Arma 3 is great game but the optimization is pathetic.

I have no problem running it on Ultra in SP or COOP with few friends and stay above 60FPS but if I go MP King of the Hill 100 players I will drop to 20FPS no matter the settings. Even on the lowest settings.

Game only utilizes my CPU at 40% max (i7 4770k OC to 4.5GHz) and GPU at around 70% (GTX 770).

So yes, you can run it. It will run bad on most MP 50 player servers.

Also I would like to say that FPS in this game really depends on server you connect to. Good servers are usually full because of that so you may wait in a line.

The more scripts there is the lower the FPS gets.

most of it has to do with server side performance, the wasteland I usally play on with about 50 - 60 others I rarely drop under the 50's

the game isnt "un optimized" its just doing alot of more things then the typical fps hence why arma is usally classed as a sim

Its all about those volumetric clouds

Yes as I said.

I used to play Wasteland on some Russian server that was really lightweight and I got 70FPS no problem even if there were 80 people. Then there were servers where I was happy with 30FPS with only 30 people.

Im thinking about buying arma 3 and am just worried that i wont be able to run it http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2bVqzy

-This guide is the best guide i found, http://wiki.day0.com.au/ArmA_3_Performance_Tweaks_and_Settings_Guide

-OC-ing my CPU to 4.4Ghz gave me about 10 more fps (i5 4690K)

-dont expect more than 25 fps on a 80 player king of the hill server

-set up view distance depending what you play (max view distance for air vehicles, *example)

-a fast drive will help you with popin, because of how scopes are made, zooming with an LRPS scope, inside of kavala, youll get some stutters from realoding the textures when you zoomout (*wasteland server*, on my 170 MB/s HDD,its pretty full and i have to defrag it)

i have about 80 fps on an empty map , singleplayer

30-60 on A3 wasteland, 70p server (armajunkies wasteland)

same with altis life 100p server (grandfatheraltis.co.uk)

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Sample Text ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

No set-up will run this game well in multilayer. It's very server dependant and most servers in multilayer are not very good.
