So, in a couple of weeks I will have two GTX 960 G1 Gaming 4GBs and I wanted to get a nice SLI bridge for it. The EVGA Pro SLI Bridge v2 looks the best IMO, so I want to go with it, but I don't know if the LED will work. So I have two questions. One, will the bridge light up with my cards natively? And two, can I power the bridge's LED in some other way (like the ASUS ROG Enthusiast SLI Bridge)? That's about it.

Correct, that one.

I just checked the EVGA product page to see compatibility but I found nothing, you will have to go there (http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-2W-0023-LR) and contact their support team so they can give you an exact answer. Unless, someone else have it and can share some info about it. I'll sub so I can get an answer as well.

That's what I've seen so far. I think I'll call them up tomorrow then, unless someone else knows.

From the information on their site yes it will light up:

http://www.evga.com/articles/00919/EVGA-Pro-SLI-Bridges-V2/

According to that, it will light up on all EVGA GTX 960s, however I have Gigabyte GTX 960s.

FTFY

And on the topic of my two GTX 960s, I had one already and I wanted another for my own reasons. And while the SLI bridge is powered by the fingers, it appears only EVGA cards deliver that power (the power to power the bridge LEDs) through the fingers. The bridge does not light up with STRIX cards, so why would it light up with other cards?

Ah good point and it seems like it's only on EVGA card from reading this review from OC3D, as to why they might have a data in the drivers to not supply the power to the LED's if non evga cards are in SLI:

http://www.overclock3d.net/articles/gpu_displays/evga_pro_sli_bridges_faster_than_ordinary_sli_cables/1

EDIT: someone here tried it on non evga cards and didn't get it to light up: https://www.avforums.com/threads/phanteks-enthoo-luxe-case-evga-2-way-sli-pro-bridge-enermax-cluster-advance-120mm-fans.1938148/

Where can you get one from? The ones on Amazon are $150+ USD

eBay for $80-$100 new and $40-$60 used.

Not cheap but sexy never is :/
