Removing 2nd card in CF setup

Hello! I currently have 2x R9 290's in CF. I want to uninstall one, and use it in another build. Which steps should I take in order to not get any issues? Or is it just as simple as turning CF off in catalyst and removing the GPU?

all you do is turn cf off and put the card in the new pc and install the drivers.

As the other guy said, turn off CF and turn off your PC, pull out the GPU and BAM, you're done!   :D

 

I already thought it would be as easy as that. But rather safe than sorry!

just take out the card, turn off CF and you're done.
