Skylake IS better but not, "worth it" better.

So i should have gone 4790k for the same cost?

Same price as the 6600K or 6700K?

500 GBP budget, the guys recommended Skylake i7's and DDR4 memory with decent ASUS/MSI boards.

 

Then this one guy comes in and put's what i quoted in the OP, i was just looking for what justifies a post like that?

 

Coming from an i5 760 at his point.

Oh no i am definitely getting it or i would never have changed my sig, parts already ordered, but i wanted to see why someone would put the post in the OP.

but op, the 6700k is around 10% better, the 4790k is £59 cheaper on scan than the 6700k, id just get the 4790k, boards can be bought for cheaper and ddr4 is  pointless.

 

10% is not worth £59...
