What Sapphire R9

Jacke1012

I want to play GTA 5 very high settings and 60fps+. I am wondering if I need the sapphire R9 380 4GB or the sapphire R9 390 8GB.

My CPU is Intel i5-4460.

I just want to ask I have seen videos where some people play GTA 5 maxed out and they only use 3.5GB of VRAM. So do I just need a 4GB or 8GB.

390 for the future in case you want to go higher res monitor or as games get more demanding.

Either will be fine. Get what you can afford, but I don't believe having more than 4 gigs of VRAM at this time is going to make a world of difference.

You're comparing 2 different cards. You may see the 8GB on the 390 as "redundant", yea it kinda is, but the 390 has a much stronger chip inside it. The 390 is probably the better choice for GTA 5.

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case
