do crazy shit with raspberry pi 2s

might need to learn some programming. it would be a nice learning experience.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Do something on thermals?

How, specifically, does the temperature of a PC affect its performance (The public really needs to be informed about this).

Which is more efficient? Passive Cooling, Air Cooling or Water Cooling?

Or if you really want to wow people, do something with the phase change cooling systems to see how cold you can get before it doesn't matter anymore.

._.

AMD A8-5500•••ASUS GTX 660•••MSI MS-7778 Mobo•••2x4GB DDR3 RAM•••CoolerMaster v550 Semi-Modular PSU•••1.5TB HDD•256GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD•••Optical Drive•••Phanteks Enthoo Pro

The thermals is more observation right? but i like the cooling idea

i do robotic so i have done this before. but thx anyways

So what grade are you? Thats advanced math, so Im bit sceptic, but that makes it only more valuable result. Like this one Finnish professor said. When rock rolls down a hill, its actually hill filling up a valley. (Ive only been 10y in school in which I mastered 9, but in that time I did more than 13 years and substituted teacher every once a while. But you know that you cant be the best if youre over that phase. Some say its a gift, but going back few years is actually far from being easy, so my grades went down in the last year I had to go to school.) Now that Im drunk, I feel a urge to talk shit about these child geniuses. Theyre not actually that smart. Its all compensated, so if they get 160 (and it depends in which country they are from.) its nowhere near what smart adults can do below that score. Nowadays Im not anymore considered as a genius, thanks to my habits, if nothing else, but then again I was never tested when I was. I did that myself when I understood that I can practically do what ever I want, and in the end it didnt pay off.

Few implications are: I learned to climb on tables before I learned to walk and disappeared to shop as soon as I learned to walk. I was once found in front of shop walking home with carriage filled with candy and such when I was three years old. My parents were drunks that later on killed themselves, so I had a heavy incentive to be self-sufficient. And then I learned that I could just take what I want. (I still did stuff, but that was just for mere curiosity.)

BTW: my curiosity wasnt cheap. I even was saved from burning building what happened to be my grannys house. I was just giggling in middle of smoke and flames. OFC I dont remember a thing. (These are stories my granny told me. She saw me giggling on top of a table eating serials in front of makeshift stairs when she came worried with janitor.. or what you call it. More shamefull conrtibution I made was changing solitary confiment so that you couldnt no longer get out. (I used screw to get screws which i used  to get piece of metal from lock and smashed a window with it. Ive been in the news more than once for being stupid. But it stopped when I turned 15.))

And those occations I was in the news, was for standing up for ppl. So even that Im cynical asshole, im not pathological one.. Song dedicated to me..

When the going gets weirdthe weird turn pro.

If it were me, I'd look into doing an aircooled computer with specialised ducting to see just how low you can get the temperatures on all the components.

You could argue that hot air tends to rise, so it's more efficient in cooling to design ducting and intakes with exhaust air going out the top of the computer, rather than out the back like in most systems.

I have an aftermarket CPU cooler with a fan that I originally had blowing air towards the back, but it was starving the chipset heatsink of air.

Rotating it so that it sent air upward means that the chipset now runs a lot cooler.

Little things like that can make all the difference.

Build a PFSense router out of an old computer. Anyone who understands what you've done will give you serious kudos. It's something you can put on your resume, PFSense is some serious enterprise-grade software. Use that to run your network and you'll have a good reputation for being a wiz.

Last thing Im going to tell, is funnt remark before I need to get some sleep, or I wont make any sense today. When I stole stuff, rich kids (Im from Espoo and kids here are morons) thought Im stupid cuz I sold them free stuff for 10% its original value. But in the end I ended up only one with money even that I was only one who didnt just get it and the only one who smelled different (I only sold same perfumes I decided in masses. That way I was at least in some way special and knew who I already sold one. And price, well you need to get what you can. I even asked them to order more in ..store when I stole every Hilfiger.)

But now I should stop speaking and get some sleep.

My son's high school does not allow demonstration projects at science fairs.  They want to see actual science, with an hypothesis, data collection, analysis, and a conclusion.

Might want to check the details of your's before you go much further.
