Worst shipping/postal experience?

Post your worst shipping experience here.  Here's mine, I ordered a stuffed animal for my little brother from Jelly Cat (a high quality london based brand) It was around 40-50$ at the time and I was waiting by the door for the package.  When I saw the box there was one strange thing about it, it was much larger than what should have been a stuffed a rabbit.  So I quickly open it up and in the package I find, and this is no troll, no joke whatsoever, 15 dildos.  I stepped back and I literally went pale then I just did a major face palm.  It was one week to christmas and my little brothers present is 15 dildos -__- I was not amused.  So I called up my postal service(because I knew  jelly cat doesn't have a dildo side business) and told them my predicament and the man on the phone laughed at first.  Then he said he had the box and it hadn't been carried over yet.  He also said if no one comes forward to request the dildos within 3 months time he said keep them. No one came forward.  Legit no one came forward for around 8 months so instead I sold each one for like 50$  And bought a TV.

I'd hardly call receiving 15 dildos instead of a stuffed rabbit. WHO ORDERS 15 DILDOS IN THE FIRST PLACE!

UPS dropped a box that had my original BenQ XL2420T monitor in. It broke and Overclockers.co.uk had to send me a new one.

I...I don't even know how to respond to that...... I order stuff all the time though so i've had more than a few weird/bad experiences. About 6 months ago maybe i finally received an amazon item i ordered over 4 years ago and long since forgotten about. I also have had an empty box show up with a giant hole in the side of it and a "We're sorry, but your package was damaged during shipping" sticker on it. Needless to say i wasn't very happy about that. And another time the tracking info (i live in the chicago suburbs) said that it was at a shipping facility in chicago and on its way to my local post office. Next day i check it and it's in Arkansas. Called the post office and they said they had no info on it. It just said it was in Arkansas and a few days later it said it was delivered. I wasn't happy with that obviously but i didn't pursue it because it only cost me like $10. I just bought a new one.

Beyerdynamic repaired my DT990's. It took four months to get them back, turns out it was USPS's fault.

I haven't had any bad experiences worth mentioning other than TigerDirect and NCIX taking ages to ship stuff and AMD taking ages to RMA one of my old CPUs (an Athlon 750K, came FUBAR from the factory.)

Wow... My "worst" experience is just the shipping services leaving packages in front of my door, for all to steal. (which happened a few times)

So now I just have my stuff shipped to a PO box. If they somehow manage to F that one up... I'd be surprised.

A local delivery company lost my power supply, only they didn't find it was necessary to tell me about it and only did admit to it after I yelled at them when the delivery was a month late and then I was able to get the store to start an insurance claim on it and got a refund.

 

It was a good store too but I told em I just won't do business with them if they don't offer some other delivery option even of more expensive but they do not so fuck them.
